We were greeted and seated properely, but the quality of service ended there. The waiter was unfriendly and unattentive. There are many brasseries in Paris to choose from. We will not return to Le Devez.

The setting was wonderful (weird paintings,though)and the service was excellent. The food was very disappointing - nice presentations, but very bland. Some of the combinations of food, such as rye with escargots was a poor choice because the rye was very strong and the escargot were very bland (no garlic, butter or spices.) Burgundy is known for its escargot so that was a poor tasting dish of its regional food. The main courses had good ingredients but also tasted bland - such as the rabbit. The 3 types of volailles were an interesting concept, but not interesting tastes. Boring! Needs more spices and accents. Also there were no legumes in sight anywhere. The dessert was good.
