I went to the Cafe du Commerce this time last year and it is without question my favourite restaurant anywhere in the world. From the warm welcome from Joseph at front of house, to the fantastic Limousin beef, to the brilliant timeless brasserie decor and atmosphere - several levels and an open roof in good weather. This is what heaven looks like.

I was an hour early and still seated right away. Service was very good, polite, prompt and non intrusive. The decor is what you come for as well as the food - it was like having dinner in a Belle Epoque painting! The food was brilliant - recommend one of the menus if on a budget. Highly recommended.
